Molecular simulation is now a standardtool in a vast plethora of chemical processes ranging fromapplications in nanotechnology to the identification andprediction of biomolecular structure and function. To date,many challenges have been addressed in an incompletemanner, and there is a continuing demand for high qualityalgorithms and supportive theory for high performancecomputations. Principal topics to be addressed at this meet-ing are algorithms for force evaluation, integration, andsampling; methods for structure prediction, reaction paths,free energy profiles and conformational dynamics; model-ling of force fields and implicit solvents; and multiscaletechniques for quantum-classical and classical-elastic mod-els.
